From November 22 to 23, 2025, the 22nd Academic Annual Conference of the System Dynamics Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering (CSSSE) was held at our university. Hosted by the System Dynamics Professional Committee of CSSSE, organized by the School of Mathematical Sciences of Hebei Normal University, and co-organized by the Business School of Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE), the conference gathered over 100 experts and scholars from universities, research institutions and enterprises nationwide—including Tsinghua University, Nankai University, Beihang University and CUFE—in Shijiazhuang to conduct in-depth discussions on theoretical innovation and practical application of system dynamics. Li Guijun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the university, attended the conference and delivered an opening speech.

Li Guijun extended a warm welcome to all attending experts and introduced the university’s historical evolution and the development of its mathematics discipline to the participants. He emphasized the critical role of system dynamics in addressing complex system challenges and empowering high-quality development, noting that advancing system dynamics theories and methods and fostering interdisciplinary integration provide key support for the development of new quality productive forces.

Professor Fan Ying, Vice President of CSSSE, acknowledged the System Dynamics Professional Committee’s significant contributions to academic exchanges and discipline advancement, and expressed greater expectations for innovative progress in the field of system dynamics.

During the conference, 9 renowned experts—including Professor Chen Jin from Tsinghua University and Professor Li Yongjian from Nankai University—delivered keynote reports covering system engineering, supply chain management, economic and financial applications, and other fields, sharing cutting-edge research findings and practical experiences. In parallel sub-forums, 14 young scholars presented papers on hot topics such as low-altitude economic governance, agricultural product supply chain resilience, and medical health system optimization, engaging in comprehensive and in-depth interactions with experts and attendees.

The election for the 7th System Dynamics Professional Committee of CSSSE was held during the conference, and Li Guijun was elected Chairman of the 7th Professional Committee.

This conference promoted interdisciplinary and cross-domain collaborative innovation, and holds great significance for advancing new quality productive forces, driving interdisciplinary development and facilitating practical applications.
